Sales and Marketing Intern

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Sales and Marketing team as a Sales and Marketing Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives and drive sales growth.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales and marketing campaigns
  • Create and curate content for marketing materials, including social media, email marketing, and other promotional materials
  • Engage with potential customers to generate leads and sales
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement improvements to sales and marketing processes
  • Utilize Google Workspace to manage projects, collaborate with team members, and analyze data

 Quality Compliance Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a GACP Quality Compliance Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our Quality Compliance team to ensure that our clients products are in compliance with Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and other relevant regulations.

Team member in this role will:

  • Assist with maintaining compliance with GACP standards, including documentation and record-keeping
  • Assist with conducting internal audits of manufacturing, packaging, and distribution processes to ensure compliance with GACP standards
  • Assist with investigating and resolving quality and compliance issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement improvements to quality and compliance processes

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

Client Support Representative (CSR)

Tacaya is looking for someone who is not scared of dealing with customers who demand the best in support and service. You are capable of communicating information well to a wide range of personalities. You carry-out instructions well and can create solutions on your own. You’re positive, level headed, and skilled at simply getting (many, many, many) things done. You understand the importance of teamwork. When there’s a problem or challenge, you find ways to work around it to accomplish the goal.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Onboarding of new clients and providing support to existing clients
  • Taking and returning calls
  • Provide office support to in field team members
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide decision support, with concise summaries, data
    analysis, and research notes
  • Manage schedules and ensuring thorough preparation for
    all meetings
  • Helping coordinate key leadership and team meetings, including agenda development, note taking, and logistics support
  • Design and coordinating a variety of internal activities and processes
  • Follow up with clients and other individuals as assigned

Market Development Executive – International

Tacaya is looking for a Cannabis Market Development Executive to join our cannabis brokerage team. You will be responsible for selling our products to a target international market. This is a remote opportunity and available to any qualified sales person in markets where Jamaican cannabis products can be legally imported. If you are an ambitious, driven individual who can develop new business relationships in the cannabis and nutraceutical industry, then we want to hear from you.

Team member in this role will:

  • Understand the market for Jamaican cannabis products and services abroad
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunity for legal Jamaican cannabis products and services
  • Introduce our Jamaican cannabis products and services to target leads
  • Manage and negotiate high-value transactions with our target clients
  • Develop and manage new business relationships with licensed cannabis leads
  • Grow our list of customers for Jamaican cannabis products and services
  • Evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets for right market fit, while contributing to market development strategies
  • Work independently; be resourceful, take initiative, and require limited direction
  • Provide constructive input to improve our products, services and market agility

Requirements:

  • Experience selling as an outside B2B sales person Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required;
  • Minimum work experience of two (2) years in sales, preferably consultative selling
  • Previous experience in hemp/cannabis, healthcare, or wellness product sales role(s) highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for sales objectives
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with customer stakeholders, senior management, and other critical stakeholders within new accounts.
  • Experience developing, implementing, executing and measuring success with account plans
  • Familiarity with CRM tools
  • Excellent contact management and effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences

We are looking to hire a project manager to join our consultancy. The candidate should have a background in project development, management, budgeting and other relevant areas.
